Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one titles have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback the Russian player won his maiden championship for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the competition final.
Medvedev, a former top-ranked player, has endured a torrid period, achieving just one win at the big events and suffering a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
The player's unpredictability on the professional circuit - and issues with his service game in particular - caused him exiting of the elite rankings and ultimately separating with former trainer his previous coach.
Now training with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently advanced in the past month - culminating in a closely contested three-set win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's maiden championship following the Italian tournament and first on a hardcourt after spring of 2023.
The win also indicates Medvedev has won 21 victories at twenty-one various events.
"It's the first time I have attended a event with my two daughters at once, so to get a trophy is especially meaningful," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my second daughter her name, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six championship matches, comprising in that event earlier this year.
Medvedev's defensive play style and regular outbursts on court had caused some to question if his ability to compete at the elite level was over.
But the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, making an effort to advance forward and perform assertively, backed up by an improved serve.
Medvedev came back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult opponent, taking 4 of the concluding five games to gain the advantage.
The pair swapped breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, attempting for his first ATP Tour victory, took control to force a decider.
He defended four early-game opportunities in a tight deciding set before Medvedev secured a break to that score to serve for the match.
Appropriately, Medvedev secured victory with a point at the net, with the Frenchman failing to handle a volley after a lengthy match.
